GUARANTEES AND RETURNS

All of our equipment comes with full 1 or 2 year USA factory warranty with repair centers in California and Illinois. Britek, JTL  PLC  are covered by a 1 year manufacturer's warranty. Smith Victor equipment is covered by a 2 year factory warranty. APV and  TriStar-Photo equipment has a 6 month warranty.  Bulbs are guaranteed to arrive in working condition but are not guaranteed beyond that because of damage/breakage in use etc. Customer pays for shipping of returned items. Lighting Equipment has a 30 money back guarantee with a 20% restocking fee when returned un-used in original package and packing materials. Returns must be accompanied by an RA #. Returns without an RA# will not be accepted. No returns beyond 30 days accepted. Equipment is guaranteed to arrive unbroken and has a 7 days from date of receipt warranty on broken items. You must notify us within 7 days of receipt for missing items or items broken in transit. Otherwise the manufactures or delivery company (ie. UPS) will not replace broken items and assume it was broken by customer after that interval and it will be your responsibility to cover replacement. For returns and exchanges, the refund  or credits amount is made for the price of the item minus the actual shipping charge paid to the delivery company. Returns and exchange item with free or reduced cost shipping will also receive credit or refund minus the actual shipping paid to the shipping company as the shipping company does not make refunds once product is delivered.

ERRORS AND OMISSIONS

We are not responsible for errors in pricing or product descriptions. If found please notify us and we correct the web page.  Pricing changes as suppliers and manufacturers raise prices as well as cost of goods rise and cost of transportation from factory also rises. Occasionally we will obtain products at a lower cost and temporarily pass the savings onto the customer as the lower cost of goods allows. We reserve the right to cancel sales because of  pricing errors or webmaster failure to update increased price.  

SALES TAX

For customers located in California we pay your sales tax for online orders.   Orders made for will call pickup and phone orders are subject to added sales tax. All prices of taxable items include sales tax reimbursement computed to the nearest mill. The sales prices of products sold online include sales tax reimbursement computed to the nearest mill. We do not pay your sales tax if you are outside the state of California.  For customers located outside California who interpret the sales tax law in their state to require that sales tax be paid, the customer will be responsible for paying their own sales tax direct to their state. We do not have a presence or agent outside of Orange County California therefore most or all states will not require sales tax be paid on purchases from our location.

To the extent you have in any manner violated or threatened to violate VideoLighting.com and/or its affiliates' intellectual property rights, VideoLighting.com and/or its affiliates may seek injunctive or other appropriate relief in any state or federal court in the State of California, and you consent to exclusive jurisdiction and venue in such courts.
 

Any other disputes will be resolved as follows:

If a dispute arises under this agreement, we agree to first try to resolve it with the help of a mutually agreed-upon mediator in the following location: Orange County, California. Any costs and fees other than attorney fees associated with the mediation will be shared equally by each of us.

If it proves impossible to arrive at a mutually satisfactory solution through mediation, we agree to submit the dispute to binding arbitration at the following location: Orange County, California, under the rules of the American Arbitration Association. Judgment upon the award rendered by the arbitration may be entered in any court with jurisdiction to do so.

If this all sounds kind of mean and undiplomatic, you should have seen what the lawyers gave to us in the first place. We had to remind them that human torture and sacrifice was outlawed in the United States. Boy, did they look disappointed!

VideoLighting.com and it's parent company and subsidiaries are committed to protecting the privacy of our online visitors. We collect information from online visitors who ask to be on our newsletter mailing list and/or receive periodic email announcements. Anyone who wishes can choose to be removed from our mailing list at any time.
